    Hi Christine,

Just checking to see if this is all ok for you now.  I think it's been solved with a workaround in another forum post but wanted to make sure?

    Best wishes,
    Cristie

Hi Cristie.  Yes, thanks, I now have a way of making sure that ascent and descent data get included when I upload new routes.  However, the routes I uploaded before learning about that workaround still aren't showing them, and I'm guessing that there isn't a way of changing that now?  When I made a mistake with a route map previously you told me I'd need to create a whole new route in order to upload a new gpx file. If that's changed and there's now a way to upload a revised route map to an existing route, do let me know!

    Hi Christine,

Great, I'm glad you have a workaround.

Yes, it's still the case that you need to create a whole new route if there is an error on one.  It's to do with versions and the way the site works.

At some point I think we might be able to create some code or some other workaround to get the elevation data to show for the gpx files where it doesn't currently.  Please don't quote me on it though as I know it's something we're looking at rather than can definitely do and beyond my skills.

    Best wishes,
    Cristie

Thanks Cristie, will watch and wait for the clever techy guys to work something out in due course!
