Hinear has a snail but should be failed
Hinear has been snailed with three five star reviews. But a fourth review by the well walked and reliable David Sanderson has failed it because the plotting is wrong. I didn't properly investigate this before walking Marhin-2 recently because it had the snail. What I should have done was plot a new reoute for Hinear and walk it and with luck I could have offered a reliable Hinear. Conclusion the issue of a snail needs changing, dare I say that a review from a well walked Slow Way contributor should have more authority that others.

I find this frustrating too. A couple of fairly local routes spring to my mind that, if I was to pioneer them knowing what I know now, I'd definitely have loaded a tidier version. But that didn't happen, and people are genuinely keen to help routes get snails, and don't want to be the guy who couldn't follow the instructions. So once one positive review is up, and until it has the magic snail, perhaps people have erred on the side of being kind to the route and perhaps the anonymous creator. Not of being kind to future users of the route ;->
