Improvements to Pledge system

Can we add notifications relating to Routes we've Pledged to walk to the list of email options? Ideally a pop up when you Pledge saying - "Would you like to be notified if there are any reviews of the route you've pledged to walk or if any new routes are uploaded to this Slow Way? You are currently signed up/not signed up to these type of emails."  

This would 

a) remind and motivate people to walk routes that they are interested in.

b) avoid them walking on routes that another reviewer has flagged up for safety/access/etc.

c) show them that a replacement route is available - more encouragement. 

Perhaps it would be simpler to offer a Slow Way level notification for routes on the Pledge list? Again for new routes being uploaded but also any reviews and comments on any route. i.e. the route they are looking at, other existing routes and any future routes. I'd be much more inclined to Pledge to walk a route if it had some practical benefit. Isn't the idea that routes seem more appealing if more people have Pledged to walk them. (Tangent, I like that there's now a link to the Pledges waylist when you click on the button!) 

Actually a Slow Way specific notification setting would be useful for people who wouldn't intuitively “pledge” to walk a particular route. E.g. to find out what others think but *after* you've already walked and reviewed it yourself. Or wanting to know if a new route version is uploaded because there's a problem with the existing one so you know you'll never walk that one. Or if someone uploads a particularly enticing review or comment on a different version than the route you've Pledged to which might sway your choice of route to walk. I wouldn't select Pledge if I wasn't sure I'd actually walk it but I'd still like the choice of getting updates for my list of `I Might Well Do This One Day’ routes. 

I have seen reviews where people have walked a now-replaced route and not been happy to find problems which they could have avoided. And I've been (mildly) disappointed when someone walked an inferior (IMO) route that I had uploaded and walked an improvement for as there were then two routes with one review each instead of one having two reviews. Potentially a Slow Way or My Pledge related notification could avoid this?
