I am finding that the forum is not intuitive to follow. Generally Internet forums(sic) have similar functionality and layout which is easy to navigate for regular users.

I would normally expect the initial list of topics to be set out in reverse chronological order, most recent at the top. Within each topic posts would be chronologically in date order which makes it easier to follow the discussion.

Also I would suggest a function to notify a user when replies to their comments are posted.
