Missing survey
Hi, I’ve completed my first survey yesterday (Aldwit One). As suggested in the training, it does indeed take a lot longer to walk a route when surveying than it normally would. I made lots of notes and then when I came home I opened the survey webpage and uploaded 22 photos with detailed comments and grid refs for all the unsafe footbridges in each photo box. Afterwards I did get a ‘thanks for submitting’ screen. However, going into the website now, whilst it says I’ve done a survey, I can’t see the photos. Also, I had prepared answers to all the questions about % of route on roads etc, about the terrain, facilities, etc and none of these came up in the survey. As soon as I had answered the accessibility questions and uploaded the photos, the survey was submitted and that was it. I can’t see how I’d go back in to edit my survey. I also didn’t get an email confirming that I’d submitted a survey. I must be doing something wrong. I do hope all that info for each photo with grid refs etc didn’t get lost in the ether.

Thanks Flora and thanks for replying Sofa Jockey.
Yes, it takes a while for our system to update. Sorry for worrying you!
You can see it here https://beta.slowways.org/Route/Aldwit/4372#accessibility . Thanks so much for taking the time to do it. Great photo survey too! So helpful to people. Great stuff.
We're looking into your other points urgently. We WILL have the data you've entered, but we might have a bug at our end which means its not displaying properly.
We don't have confirmation email alerts yet, but are looking at that.
Thank you Flora so much. More soon!

I noticed it took a little while to load when I submitted mine.
Maybe look again now to see if it's there?

Thanks for your replies. It’s all there now, and I’ve added an additional survey with all my comments. I realise now that my first survey was a photo survey and not a full survey, and I’d intended to do the latter. Anyway, now I’ve done both so hopefully that’s all the bases covered. One small bug I also noticed is that when I added the photos, the final 4 photos uploaded rotated sideways. On my camera roll they are in normal upright position. But somehow they’ve rotated themselves when I uploaded them. I’m not sure why and I don’t know if anyone else has experienced that.
