Picking a route
When you search a route, AbcXyz, you can get several options. From the overview, it isn’t clear which is which and you have to click into each one separately.
It’d be lovely to be able to click the link for ‘AbcXyz One’ and get the details (as now), or click the BOX the route name is in and have that route temporarily highlighted on the summary map.
Ideally, some mechanism to multi-select and temporarily choose more than one alternate with a view to shortening the list and then refining the choice would be nice (e.g. multi-select, hide unselected…. Would stay hidden until `*end of session* or until hide option removed)

I second all of the above. But might getting the Journey Planner to multi-select Routes on each Slow way for multiple Slow Ways at once (e.g. if planning your own L End to J O'Groats) end up being quite complex, perhaps instead just select one route from each Slow Way at a time. If the other routes were grey instead of hidden and there was a route name on hover (unique sections only) that would have a similar utility.
Actually having the route name appear on hover would be really useful even without the selection facility. It would be good to be able to tell which route on the map matched which number without looking at their pages and would be quicker than using the selection method one by one.
