Hi All! We think this is our fault. The system has been wrongly coded so that new routes need to be a specific way around. We're fixing this today so hopefully that will help.

    Apologies and more soon!

It sounds as if the start and end points are not precise enough. What did you use to create the route? When you say exact coordinates, did you use OS Grid Ref, or lat/long etc?

I used OSmaps to create the route. I used the os grid ref by copying and pasting to guarantee accuracy. I have tried to show in the pictures above both are an almost exact match to the locations they show an the instructions.

What slow way are you creating a route for? Sounds like there might be a data error

Did you do Whittesley to Crowland? The slow way is Crowland to Whittesley (Crowhi)

Thanks Matt and Martin. Sorry you've had this trouble Matt. I'm going to ask someone to check and come back to you.

The direction of the route should not matter.

The direction of the route does matter (even if it shouldn't).

I uploaded a GPX file created in OS maps from Maidenhead to Bracknell using exact 'SU' references to place the start and end points. I got the "both the start and end points of this file are more than 50 metres away from the correct start location" error.

I redrafted the route the other way around from Bracknell to Maidenhead and it was happily accepted and posted.
