Details as in (hopefully) linked thread. There's a huge great chunk of common land and outdoor sports centre in Southampton that makes for really good walking routes, but the choice of Lordshill as a meeting point results in less direct routes via the common or more direct routes along busy roads. Seems an odd choice of meeting point.

  +1 for Chilworth or Bassett, in the sense that the 'green' routes in the area are likely to pass through one or both.
