Hi Mary, thank you for all your efforts reviewing and surveying.  We're working on editable reviews and surveys so hopefully it won't be long until you're able to do that.

If you'd like me to delete a review for you so that you can repost it please let me know the route that it's on and I can do that if it would help?

    Best wishes,
    Cristie

    Hi

I agree with Christie, It would be really useful to be able to edit our reviews, we all make Typos, and it would be great to be able to correct them!

Seriously though, things change and you do not want to have to add many reviews as conditions  change or new hazards arise

    Hi Eric,

Editable reviews are on their way which as you say will make things easier.

    Best wishes,

    Hi

Are we able to edit reviews yet? KINSOU One is now impassible due to HS2 and will be for up to three years. I have uploded an alternative, which I will review, but the only way I can see of informing Slowways of the closure  is to give a negative second review and hope it is read!

    Hi Eric,
Editable reviews are still being developed.  I can see that you've added a comment to your original review and think that makes sense and also allows the Slow Way to stay there ready for when the route is usable again.

If you would like to rewrite your review and comment into one and change your star rating then I'd be happy to help with that.  All you'd need to do is post a new review, email me at hello@slowways.uk and I can delete the original reviews.  Hope this helps as a workaround for now.

    Best wishes,
    Cristie

    Hi Christie

    Thanks for the feedback.

How do you trigger the "Problems reported -  No issues flagged" section. Is this only available if a Survey is completed?

    Best wishes

    Hi Eric,

You can also trigger flags via the review function.  At the bottom where it says would you recommend this route as part of the Slow Ways network.  If you select "no" or "maybe" then you can add a flag for either safety, access or accuracy.

    Best wishes,
    Cristie

I would advise caution regarding editing routes. There are consequences in mismatching reviews to updated routes. I would certainly expect any snail routes to be locked, with any major updates to include a new uploaded route.

Certainly for minor changes to routes, the solution to this I think will be to upload a reviewers tracks that will show any differences to the route that the reviewer takes.

That's wise to advise caution around editing routes.  Routes can only be added, they can't be edited and so any reviews associated with a route will stay with the route.  There is a bit of a bug at the moment that has placed a couple of reviews with the wrong routes which has caused confusion but we're on its trail and hoping to get that fixed soon.

Editable reviews are being developed so that people will be able to come back and make changes to their reviews if they notice that something has changed or would now like to add images.  This won't affect the routes though just the reviews.

 of course you’re talking reviews! My mistake!

    Sorry about that…
