Which route to review?
I walked three routes today, all of which would need altering so I shall be submitting new versions. I'm wondering what to do in terms of review. Do I submit the new version and then review it as the version I walked (because it was) or do I review both versions with different scores and perhaps a warning of why the first one is not as good (if not impassable in places)?

Thanks for asking David.
100% review the route that you think it not good enough. Low stars + sharing if the route is "good enough" to be in the network will help people to know how good that route is. Any comments will provide further guidance.
It's also fine to review your own route, but you may want to declare that in your comments.
Routes need to be verified by three different people to become "verified routes", so you would still need too other people's agreement to make that happen.

I reviewed (and photo surveyed) the old route pointing out the problems.
Posted a new route and then surveyed that because I know it well and have photos. It's less subjective because the survey is about ground quality, gates, obstructions and inclines.
Personally I think it's for others to review the route I posted because that's more about whether the route is liked and/or suitable.
Others may see it differently?
