Ditton in Kent

Agree, when you arrive there it's odd, especially as all the connecting routes come from very clear village centres. And there isn't even a bus stop. Larkfield has a full size supermarket, and Aylesford a proper village centre. But both are in different council wards, maybe Ditton's ward boundary / population is why it was chosen.

Alyesford village might be a good future addition to the network. Although the nodes in the area are already densely grouped, and multiple routes already go through it so maybe it wouldn't make much difference. The village centre is very distinct though, it has several places to eat or stay overnight.  Plus it has the same name as the nearest station (always helpful for strangers to the area) and it's very pretty!
