Path Grading
I surveyed an urban Slowway which had several kerbs to negotiate but no flights of steps.
The access grading for this is unclear:
Y: Stile, step, barrier and obstacle free. Should be accessible to all wheelchairs and scooters.
Z: Stile and obstacle free, but includes at least one flight of steps
Neither fit.

I assumed that if there were dropped kerbs available to cross the streets (even if it involved a minor detour, ie they were visible) then this meant they could get the step free category. Otherwise I’m not sure anything would qualify! 1

Hi David, Thanks for your email on this too. We're going to be adding a category to cover this. S: Stile and obstacle free, but includes at least one kerb or step. Thank you - Dan 0
