Reviewing Routes which are only temporarily blocked
There's a route which I was unable to review because a lane it relies on is closed for 19 weeks. I really don't feel able to review it because I've never walked down this particular lane so couldn't assess its safety from personal experience. Otherwise the route was fine. I was able to make a new route, walked it and reviewed it but I'm concerned that if I don't put anything for the first route that other people might try and use it and end up wasting as much time as I did. Other first versions of routes with a temporary block (which I'd used prior to the closure) I was able to review and mentioned in the review about how long it would be closed. Should I review the first route, give it a low score and then review when the lane reopens? How many times can we review a route? Surely only once! It seems unfair to mark down a route that might be the best version when it reopens but I want fellow users to be informed prior to choosing a route to walk

Hi David,
Thank you for creating a new route to get around the blocked section. I can understand you wanting to add a review so that others don't get caught out.In this case you could add a review saying that you only walked part of it and explaining how long the section will be closed for. You could give it stars based on how you think it will be once the block is removed. Then you could select maybe for whether or not you would recommend it.
Best wishes,
