I'm not quite sure how this happened. The meeting point is on a busy (but safe) narrow, benchless, street corner. On the other side of the street (to the north) is a small square by a war memorial with benches, It makes far more sense to have it there. This would not majorly affect routes and would make meeting more pleasant.
