How to make minor amendments to a route

I've done a couple of reviews now.

On the first one (for Hather One), there is an obvious 'correction' to take out an unnecessary dogleg and follow a more direct, attractive, safer route through Mill Green. I've read the response to the posts saying upload alternative routes but this seems like overkill. There must be a simple way of editing as a result of reviews.

The second route I've walked (Herhod One) is really not very safe as given so I will submit an alternative as suggested and see what happens.

  Hello Colin,

  Thank you so much for your efforts walking and reviewing the routes.  Particularly your details notes which will be so helpful to others wanting to walk the routes.

  For Hather one I think the best option would be to upload a new gpx file via the suggest a better route function. My reason being that over time your new route would hopefully receive more stars and then become more visible to people as the route to consider using.  This feel particularly useful because Hather one was the original route and you've now tested it by walking it and found what needs to be amended.  

  Thank you for adding Herhod two.  For Herhod one I noted your comments around safety at Mangrove Road.  Would you agree that Herhod two has removed the safety issue?  If so then I can take Herhod one from the network.

  Yes, I do think Herhod one is really not a sensible route for this connection so I would take it off the network. Yesterday was so grey I didn't take any photos but I'll do it again when it's fine and add some.

  You're welcome.  Thank you so much for confirming around Herhod two.  Herhod one has now gone.  It may still show on the maps until it goes through the next stage of deletion but people won't be able to view or download the route.
