What's happened to our pictures?

I thought I had found the best format for picture presentation, cropping them to square. Now they have all been amended to HD format (16 x 9) are we sticking with this?

  Thanks so much for all your efforts around finding the best format for pictures and sorry that our new system has adapted them.  It's a feature that's been created to enable the images to show on the maps.

  We may change things again as the site evolves but for now that is the format.  Going forward you should be able to upload the images in their original size and we'll take care of the resizing and cropping.
