Using permissive paths for Slow Ways routes
Is it OK for Slow Ways routes to use permissive paths at times if there is no suitable right of way?
e.g. I've created Lonyor two as a more direct route than Lonyor one, but it uses some permissive paths in places; one of these paths is closed 1 day each year to maintain the owner's right to shut it.
Is it still OK for me to upload this in to the network?

Hello,
Thanks for checking and for creating Lonyor two. It's absolutely fine to use permissive paths as part of the network. Please if you could mention that the path is closed one day a year in your description then that will help people to navigate. I'm guessing that we don't know which day it might be? Also if you know a workaround for if they arrive there and the path is closed then that would also be helpful to add in the description.
Best wishes,

Hello Cristie
Thanks for your reply - I wasn't sure how often anyone was checking the Forum!
I'll upload Lonyor two and put as much useful detail in the description as I can. The path closure date in 2020 was 1 July and I guess it will be the same each year - I'll see if I can check.
Best wishes
Christine

Hello Christine,
Thank you so much.
The forum is regularly checked but we're a small team and so you may get a quicker answer from others in the Slow Ways forum who between them have a wide variety of experience in all things Slow Ways.
Best wishes,
Cristie0
