Hello all,
Just about to walk my first Slowways. The route has a strange loop down onto the A10 (where there is no footpath) and back, but there is a public footpath that avoids this loop.
Should I walk the route and add comments about how dodgy it is, or suggest a new route that avoids the trunk road?

Welcome to Slow Ways. If you do decide to create and walk a better route do please leve a review of your better route. It looks an interesting area, only wish I was close enough to give it a go.

PS I guess the loop to the A10 was to include the inn. Is there anything at Buckland which is about half way for a refresment stop?

Thanks Ken - yes I guess the inn must be the reason for the loop. Sadly it's now closed, and there isn't anything at Buckland. The only place I know of for a refreshment stop on this route would be the Fox and Duck at Therfield, but that is relatively close to the start / end (depending on which way you're doing the walk).
I'll do the walk with the A10 loop cut out and upload a review of that.
