    Hi Daisy,

Great suggestion.  I'll mention it to the tech team for consideration.

    Best wishes,
    Cristie

The pop-up is fine on a large desktop monitor, but takes up far too much of the screen on my Android phone, so I second Daisy's request.

Pop up map doesn't appear on Android anymore, thank you very much for that.

It doe still appears on each newly opened page on the desktop site, even when you are moving directly from one map page to another, e.g. from a Settlement page to one of the routes. I'm still not a fan, but it's probably not a big deal.

Similarly though it would be nice to preserve the base mapping choice and tick box selection on the map views. That'd probably be a better “user experience” improvement for me, maybe others, and perhaps more pragmatic from the back end perspective. Using OS view as base map makes routes and slow ways a lot quicker to load, and presumably that would save bandwidth too.

    Another linked request.

Could “Photos” be an option on the Edit Review or Edit Route map views. This isn't massively important but sometimes if I was in a slight deadzone the photo position can be off, sometimes even a mile or two. It might be nice to do a quick double check for that here as you could add explanatory text straight into the review.

I don't know how often I'd actually use it though, maybe hardly ever.

    And

A linked request to the the linked request.

There are other places where different map check box are available, i.e. viewing a route has “Routes” but viewing a settlement has “Unverified Routes” and “Verified Routes”. Maybe the full range could just be available in all pages that have map views. It'd save having to flip between tabs, and reduce the number of tabs I have to have open. When I'm deciding where/when to go, which routes could combine for a single walk, etc. then the number of other open tabs can quickly skyrocket so anything to reduce them would help.
