On further investigation, Gloseda1 exists as a Glossop-Edale route in the route lists for both Edale and Glossop, but doesn't appear on the map of projecting routes for either place.

When we can get back anywhere near the Trent and North Notts, I'll give it a go and let you know.

Hi Hugh. That's good. I'd be interested to see your suggestion - I couldn't see an obvious walkable line. There seems to be a lack of footpaths in that part of the world.

In the same part of the world.... Mansfield is sometimes 'man' and sometimes 'mans', whereas Mansfield Woodhouse (which is close and shares linked places) is always 'man'. Can they be standardised ...

Ah but, kirrai2 and kirkrain1 both mentioned Kirkby in Ashfield and Rainworth in Nottinghamshire!

I was interested in a route which isn't largely suburban residential streets. The Leen Valley path is such a route.
