Also I tried to upload a new route, though that had a similar photo upload box that looks like it only accepts 1 photo. Loading a GPX file crashed the page with an 'Error 500' message.

I too think it needs to be possible to add more than one photo, even if there is a set limit. How do you meaningfully capture a route with a single photo?
