Making a new route in OS app

Help! I have done this before but can't do it now - possibly due to the update David Sanderson mentions in this topic. I want to edit the route gpx I have from the site to make a small tweak but can't see how - it only has an editable point at the end. Any advice welcome!

  I'm not an OS app user but could you just use a different program? I use plotaroute.com. It's free and reshaping the route is easy in the browser version. It has a fit-to-path facility if you want that and a brilliant “jump to Google-Street-View” feature. It uses OSM maps though, not OS, but often they are better for plotting routes.
