Sun Inn, Norwood
I'd move the Sun Inn, Norwood (grid ref SE 20704 53815) start/end point to the Swinsty & Fewston car park at grid ref SE 18656 53769.
There are no public facilities at the Sun Inn but there are public toilets and usually a drinks/ice cream booth at the Swinsty car park.
The Ilksun route already passes within about 500 meters of the Swinsty car park. The Sunsta route would be the same distance from Swinsty as from the Sun Inn.
Both of these routes as they currently stand would also be blocked due to ongoing building work on the Swinsty Reservoir dam which is due to continue until summer 2022 (see https://www.yorkshirewater.com/things-to-do/swinsty ) and so walkers would need to divert via the car park route anyway.

I Agree Des, the pub has never been open the times I have passed. However, moving a node now I imagine will be quite tricky.
I have added an alternative for Ilkley to the sun inn that avoids the non-existent path over the moors. If you walk this route could you drop some photos and text in about the Car park facilities?
