Tony, I think I would use it for a brief explanation of why you have created it, such as "new route to avoid problem whatever" or "easier/more accessible/prettier route than existing one".

During the early videos about Slow Ways, Dan Raven Ellison said something like "Absolutely, yes, please do review and survey your own added routes"

Yes, I'd like to be able to edit my own surveys, and also edit my own reviews. I now have photos to submit (I didn't do this originally), so currently, I will have to submit another survey/review.
